We are now confident that our call processing is working as we would expect it to be.  This means that new calls should be visible within 4 hours and these calls should then be shown as confirmed calls 24 hours later.<br />

Some of our customers may notice that they have some duplicated unconfirmed calls showing up; these are unlikely to be removed but will have no impact on their service or in their monthly invoices.<br />
<br />
We will provide a further update at the end of this week.<br />

In yesterday's update, we said that we expected the calls from July 8-12th to be showing up on our customers accounts as confirmed calls by the end of yesterday.  Unfortunately, this didn't happen, but we expect this to be done by mid-afternoon today.  This may also mop up some missing calls from the week leading up to this period.<br />
<br />
The other work that we discussed - to allow new calls to be presented more quickly, has been tested successfully on our Gamma platform.  We hope this will be rolled to our Live platform later on today and will then take about a day to catch up.  We expect this to complete by roughly lunchtime tomorrow.<br />

We have continued to make good progress in improving the speed at which we process the confirmed calls data for our Home Phone customers.  Currently, all call data should be correct upto July 8th and we expect this to be correct for upto July 12th by the close of business today.<br />

We will then begin to improve the speeds at which calls are presented to our customers and this work is expected to be completed by close of play on Tuesday. From Wednesday, all calls should be displaying within a timely manner and these calls should subsequently be displayed as confirmed calls within 24 hours.  This is because we receive the confirmed call data the day after the call has been made.<br />

The archiving work identified in the previous update to this issue has now completed, and testing shows that the improvement in call processing speeds is significant. <br />
<br />
We have now made some database configuration changes, which will further improve this process. These changes are currently in a testing stage, and will be rolled live later today if this testing is successful. <br />
<br />
We will provide a further update to this issue as soon as these changes have completed. <br />
<br />
